On Friday night April 15th, Lee Waltner was suddenly and tragically taken from us. Lee and his daughters, Unity and Alyx, were traveling in on Highway 42 West of Sioux Falls when the vehicle Lee was driving was struck by another vehicle driving the wrong direction. Lee did not survive the crash, the girls and the other driver are being treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
There are no adequate words to describe this senseless tragedy. Lee was a man of the highest character, a loving husband, devoted father, and dearly loved family member and friend to so many people. Lee's love for God and for others was not only evident, it is his legacy.
