I have had back problems for years. In 2012, I had lumbar surgery to remove bone fragments that were pressing on my spinal cord. Now, I have had pain in my neck that runs down my shoulder causing weakness in my right arm. I had hoped to avoid any more surgeries but even daily workouts apparently weren't enough to fight this condition. So now, the surgeon will put in 2 steel plates, disc replacements and bone graft material to realign my spine and protect my spinal cord from further damage.
This is obviously a serious operation but I look forward to a full recovery after so I can return to the active life I love with family and friends.
