Victoria Duell

Welcome to our CaringBridge website which we will be using to keep updates in one place regarding our team member, Victoria Duell. Victoria works as a Research Assistant and is closely affiliated with the Burlington, Vermont office.  She is also married to our Technical Services Director, Josh Duell.   

Early in March Victoria was diagnosed at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with a very rare form of cancer known as NUT Carcinoma.   Victoria began the first of three initial rounds of chemotherapy treatments in the middle of March.  Victoria and Josh remain hopeful these treatments will shrink the tumor and permit more targeted oncology(radiology) treatments.  Both Victoria and Josh are so very grateful for the wonderful community support they have already received, including a ‘chemotherapy care package’ from many generous co-workers.   

A little more about Victoria and Josh - they met at ICF nearly a decade ago and together they have a son, Cohen who is 8 years old.  Victoria’s music interests include Nahko and Medicine for the People, Trevor Hall and Grateful Dead.  She also operates an Esty shop, Boho Roots Creations, selling handmade goods such as gemstone bracelets, boho headbands, soy candles and olive oil soaps. Josh and Victoria bought an RV last year and have plans to travel out West with their son, which has been a dream for both of them.
