Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Richard Nerheim. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Thank you for visiting. Richard suffered a stroke on March 16, 2017. He had called 911 two days earlier due to shortness of breath and had been admitted to the hospital. We are praising God that he was in the hospital when the stroke occurred. It enabled him to receive care much more quickly. At this time he has paralysis on his left side but is able to communicate, although his speech is altered. It is too early to know what his condition will be long term, but it will most certainly involve hard work and hard decisions. He is currently at Swedish Hospital on Broadway in Seattle and would be happy to have visitors. Your prayers, support and words of hope and encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
