On May 1, 2015 Tyler was severely burned in a fire while at a friends house. 45% of his body was 3rd degree burns. At that time he had a tracheotomy. This was later removed in November 2015. He has since competed in cross country, wrestling , basketball, football, swimming, hunting and fishing. In January 2017 we started to notice he was having a little more trouble breathing and On February 23, 2017 the Dr did a scope and found he had a very small airway. He didn't understand how wig that airway Tyler took 2nd place at his last wrestling tournament and how earlier in the week he competed in a basketball tournament. The following Sunday after the scope Tyler was struggling to breath. We took him to the ER where they decided he needed to fly back to Minneapolis. While trying to incubate him things did not go as planned and after 2 very long hours and almost loosing him a few times they were able to put an emergency tracheotomy back in place and fly him back to Minneapolis. When we arrived they let us know he was going to have to have complete open airway reconstruction. Thank you everyone for thoughts and prayers. He currently has 4 siblings at home who I am sure are kind of scared. Please keep them in your prayers as well. Thank you all
