So here we go - I am finally creating a caring bridge site for Travis.
On May 23, 2020, Travis had a CT scan done which showed 2 very large and several small masses in his abdomen. After way too many days of stress and anxiety, Travis was finally diagnosed by Mayo Clinic in Rochester with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell - a very rare form of Sarcoma. Rare out in the world but not as rare at Mayo as they specialize in Sarcomas. We consider ourselves to be blessed to live only a 2 hour drive from one of the top places in the world for our sweet boy to receive treatment.
The outpouring of prayers, love and support leaves us in tears almost daily. We have an amazing army that we know we are going to need. We especially covet those prayers! Thank you to all our loved ones for accompanying us on this journey. ❤
