Tom has been diagnosed with Stage 4 bladder cancer. It has moved from his bladder and urethra to liver and other organs and also into his spine. It seems to be an aggressive cancer as an MRI taken on Friday, July 17th, showed more lesions in his spine from the MRI that was taken just two weeks prior. The first priority now is to protect his spine by shrinking the tumors there, so he had a massive dose of radiation Friday (while hospitalized). More in the updates.
