Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Tod has been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD).  You can Google it.  It progresses rapidly.  Essentially it affects balance, coordination, speech, memory, motor skills, personality, and all neurological processes.  

We don't know the future, but we are taking Tod's situation on a day-by-day basis.  So many of our friends have shown concern and love and interest.  We've set up this Caring Bridge web site so that I can provide updates to everyone more easily.  Also, Caring Bridge gives me a place to answer the question "What can I do to help?"  So many of you have offered, and I am so grateful.
