In February,  after weeks of battling an extremely sore back something changed.  I went from extremely sore to unable to function due to the pain resulting in a trip to the ER.  After 6-8 hours in the ER and many tests later I was awarded my long-awaited prized delivered by a very compassionate doctor (unknown name).  The prize, Kidney Cancer!  Not only Kidney Cancer but a few bonus gifts to go along with it to include a compression fracture of my T9 vertebra which contained a lesion believed to also be cancer that was eating away at the bone and two small nodules on my lungs.  Dang, I hit the jackpot.

Please feel free to follow my story as my wife Dee and I use this as a method to keep friends and family informed while being open and honest with our feelings allowing us to process and learn our new way of life.  Dee will be making most of the posts I'm sure, but I will try my best to post as often as I can.  Thank You for your support and let the war begin.
