Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

On October 26th, my life was changed forever.  I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer after a routine annual mammogram.  After many, many, many tests, they have comfortably determined that I have Stage 2a Poorly Differentiated Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.  This week I set out on a treatment course that will include a chemo treatment every three weeks (starting December 1, 2017) for 6 cycles, then surgery and possibly radiation for 6 weeks.  It will be a tough year but I hope to come out on the other side a stronger person .   I certainly already appreciate every precious moment of life more than ever.

Thanks to all the friends and family would have rallied around during this trying time.  Your encouragement and more specifically your prayers have helped us greatly.    The "us" I am referring to is me and my wonderful, caring, loving, handsome, funny and absolutely perfect husband, Michael.   He has been to every appointment, every test, dried every tear that has fallen from my eyes and is making this whole situation manageable.  I refuse to step back from this fight for even a second because of his love.
