I went in for my annual mammogram... under normal circumstances I wouldn't have gone this year but would have waited a couple more years to get another one, but since breast cancer runs in my family on both sides, I need to get these annually. I am glad I did, because if I hadn't they wouldn't have found two spots that needed to be checked. I ended up having a biopsy of both on Monday and by Wednesday, April 5, I was told that one of them is cancer. Everything else is up in the air. I have to wait and find out what will happen and what the next steps are.
