Welcome to “Team Jesse’s” CaringBridge website.

If you found your way to this website, you have heard about Jesse’s recent medical crisis - he had a bacterial infection in his blood that resulted in endocarditis and required an aortic valve replacement.  We’ve gotten this far into his treatment due to your outpouring of  love, prayer, and support.  We keep hearing  “How can I help?" and we've created this website to share some ideas.

FOOD
Please note due to allergens  in our family we’re requesting you do not send  food or gift baskets (unless specifically noted in the Amazon Wish List see link below).

UPDATE (as of 10/21):  We want to order food from a local chef to bring in some prepared meals (based on our food sensitivities) to stock our freezer and get us through the next few weeks.  If you'd care to donate for that, please Venmo Alison (Alison_Deutsch) and mark "Team Jesse " so we know what it's for.  (Please mark it private).

You can also send gift cards to our favorite specialty food markets or restaurants:

DiBruno Brothers (https://dibruno.com/locations/ardmore/)
Carlino’s Market (https://www.carlinosmarket.com/havertown-location)
Tabouli Cuisines (https://taboulicuisines.com)
Coco Thai Bistro (https://www.cocobistro.com)
Modern Bread and Bagel (https://www.modernbreadandbagel.com)

MISCELLANEOUS
We created an  Amazon Wish List (https://www.amazon.com/registries#) for a few things we’ve noticed we need around the house (it also includes some fruit, nut, and jam baskets). UPDATE:  You Rock!!! With much gratitude I’m happy to say that all of our “wishes” on the Amazon list have been fulfilled.

If you’d like to gift Jesse an Acupuncture treatment please note it in the comments with your email, and I will send you a Venmo link for our provider.  (Feel free to donate whatever amount you’d like).

Finally, another option is to make a charitable donation (Tzedaka) in Jesse’s name , a custom in the Jewish religion. Jesse has selected
The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health (https://www.johnritterfoundation.org),  established by John Ritter’s widow Amy Yasbeck who’s support was invaluable as we were navigating Jesse’s care.

While Jesse still has a long road ahead,  we have every reason to believe with time he can make a full recovery - especially with words of hope and encouragement and of course humor from family, friends, and colleagues.
