We have set up this page for all those who want to support our amazing son Erik during his liver transplant. We will try to do updates as things happen & change so that all of you will be kept up to date on how he is doing as well as to send him words of support, encouragement & love. This is a tough road he is on but he is a strong young man who is ready for this journey. He will come out in the end feeling stronger & healthier than he has ever been in true Washington State Cougar fashion! Although he is being treated at UWMC, he wants everyone to know that he will always stay true to being a Coug & makes a point of always showing his colors when we are there :)
A GoFundMe account has been set up at the wishes of his BHS Cross Country team kids & parents with the help of his Aunt Jenny as a way to help him with his medical costs due to the fact that he will be out of work for 6 months or more. This was something Erik was very uncomfortable with & needed convincing to set up. He does not want anyone to feel obligated to monetarily help him. Your words & support are more important.
