This particular chapter of Andrew's story begins in Tahoe for Thanksgiving with a visit to Barton Memorial hospital that resulted in a life flight to Sutter General in Sacramento. After a few weeks there it was decided he had exhausted their resources (which was such a bummer because we loved it there- I kid you not- the Nordstrom's of hospitals!) So he was taken to UC Davis with all their experts and specialists and staff who know him. It looks like he has tapped them out here as well and he will be going to Stanford for possible solutions. Basically they will try to repair/rebuild his tummy. First he has to recover from pneumonia, tracheotomy, neurosurgery, insane vitals, sleep deprivation and chronic pain. Can't say how long any of this will take but that's our plan today. Love Peace & Comfort
