I decided to start documenting my journey, for myself as much as for others. However, if my journey can help others and bring glory to my God, then all the better.  


Receiving a call after a routine mammogram requesting I go in for an ultrasound did not alarm me at all. I have dense breast tissue and have had ultrasounds before. Being taken to a small room to talk with the doctor was something new. The ultrasound, like the mammogram, was abnormal. I had to have a biopsy on November 17 and two days later I received a call that I had breast cancer. 


Not something I was prepared for at all!  I plan to document my journey here, so follow me in the fight of my life as I kick cancer’s butt!
