Welcome to Tammie's CaringBridge website. We will be using this page to keep friends and family updated throughout  her battle with breast cancer.  Here is what we know so far: 

In December 2018, Tammie was diagnosed with Stage 2b invasive  HER2- ER+ PR- breast cancer that has already spread to her lymph nodes.  Her treatment plan includes 20 weeks of dose dense chemotherapy followed by radiation, surgery and 5 years of  aromatase inhibitors.  Although the road to recovery will be long, her prognosis is good and she has an excellent medical team working hard to save her life.
