Sylvia was driving home from a gig at the Back Yard in Forestville and was hit on Highway 116. It was a head on and she sustained many bone breaks. She was immediately sent to surgery (thank you Santa Rosa Memorial Trauma Unit) and is now headed for a lengthy recovery.

Her sister Kate is with her. Her niece Karen is close by and so helpful. Other relatives will cycle in to give assistance. This is going to be a long recovery, but as we all know, Sylvia is incredibly strong and determined and already showing great progress.

As the needs unfold, there will be plenty to do to assist Sylvia. As of now we can all just send healing thoughts. Cards are wonderful, too, and will be read to her as she is able. Please send to Sylvia Murphy c/o Heidi Horvitz 30355 Seaview Rd, Cazadero, CA 95421
