Dear Friends and Family,
It has been almost two years to the day since Suzanne was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.  In that time, she has battled her cancer without complaint, and with bravery, strength, and the sense of humor we all know and love.  In June we were told that her chemo treatments were no longer working and she only had weeks to live. Given that news, Suz decided that she had a few things to get done and few places to visit.
On June 25, Suzi danced and celebrated with so many of you. Life IS Good and she was fortunate to share that truly magical evening surrounded by the love of her family and friends.  On July 6th, we left for Colorado to visit friends and make a trek to the "Maroon Bells" just outside of Aspen. From there we made our way to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and then off to a friend's ranch in Parker, Colorado. After a few days of rest back on our farm, we left for a five day trip to Maine in addition to several trips to the beach.
Suz has taken full advantage of the time she has had with her children, Blakely and husband Joe, granddaughters Hope and Norah, son Matthew and his wife Jessica, son Alex and his wife Katelyn, and our son Jack. She has enjoyed a number of visits with her parents and brother, aunt, uncle, cousin and niece and nephew. Watching Fourth of July fireworks with her brother Jeff was a highlight of the summer.  Of course, there were also the many hours spent visiting with, emailing, texting and talking on the phone with her extended family and friends.

Unfortunately, it has become increasingly more difficult for Suz to keep up. Suzanne has been in "in home" hospice for the past two months.  In just the past week she has been declining rapidly. Her kidneys are shutting down and our only goal is to make her as comfortable as possible.  With that in mind we have set up this site to keep you up to date on how Suzi is doing.
Our family can never thank all of you enough for the love and support you have not only given to Suzanne, but to all of us. We will continue to update this site as often as possible.  Feel free to contact me directly if need be at bteee@comcast.net (mailto:bteee@comcast.net).

Thanks again and love to all of you!

Peace
