We will be celebrating Susan's (Mom's) life on June 20, 2022 at 11 am at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Loring Park.  We (her children and stepchildren) are so grateful for the support of a caring community and her compassionate, smart, loving and funny friends.

In December 2015, Susan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and was successfully treated.  In the intervening years, her cancer reappeared in her lungs.  In 2020, just after Charlie's death, she and her oncologist decided that it was time to treat the cancer with chemotherapy.  The treatment was successful for more than a year but then became ineffective. Her oncologist proposed an alternative but the effects interfered with her overall health.  Susan has decided to enter in-home hospice care in order to maintain her quality of life and stay as comfortable as possible.
