Just wanted to give you the latest Svor news. Steve was doing a controlled burn on CRP land on Friday morning. The first two fields went fine, but on the third field he was riding on the tailgate of the pickup doing the torching and because of the bumpiness in the field he fell off into the flames and was severely burned. Steve could not get himself up off the ground. The driver of the pickup, Harold Johnson tried to get him up but was unsuccessful. Josh was nearby with his boys in the pickup watching and he ran over and pulled his Dad out of the fire. Steve was airlifted to Hennepin County Burn Center and is in the intensive care burn unit. He has severe burns on his lower legs and second degree burns on his head. He is listed in serious condition. We will post updates when we have them. Due to Covid no one is able to be with him.
