On June 2nd around 1pm, Steve was working on fixing the garage door that wouldn't open. The garage door spring was wound tight. It slipped, hitting in him in the cheek bone/sinus area. The bolt that was attached to the spring flew and was imbedded into his forehead.
He went up to the Watertown ER, where they shipped him to Sioux Falls. He had to have surgery to get blood off of his brain. He was on blood thinners and lost a lot of blood. The prognosis on Saturday night wasn't good. BUT our God is bigger.....
