On April 11th, Stan is undergoing Deep Brain Stimulation surgery- an elective procedure to hopefully reduce the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. As with all things Parkinson's related, there is a lot of unpredictability surrounding this surgery. We don't know what the outcome will be, how long recovery will be and what Stan's new reality will be once he is recovered. We know that there are a lot of questions and that we won't be able to answer them all. But our hope is that, through this website, we can keep the people that care about Stan (and Lili!) informed and in the know about his progress.
