Sophie Deprez

Late February, Sophie had a terrible headache and suffered some dizziness.  It was enough that she went to her general practitioner.  One week later, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer as it had moved into her lymph nodes, her brain lining and her liver.  She, her family and her oncologists have decided to suspend treatment to keep her as comfortable as she can be for her remaining time.  Sophie and Charlie are now living in Orlando, Florida with Sophie's sister Thé.  Charlie in enrolled in an amazingly supportive neighborhood school and has joined the local Little League.  Sophie is very comfortable and is having in-house hospice while living with her sister.  They are both surrounded by Sophie's parents, sister, brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
