Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  We especially thank you for all of your prayers.  So many people have shared their desire to pray for us in so many ways, and prayer is the one thing that we cannot receive enough of at this time!  


Samantha's cancer diagnosis began in early May.  As many of you know, Samantha had a spinal fusion surgery back in November to fix a torn ligament in her lower spine.  That surgery came as a result of many, many months of extreme lower back pain.  As the weeks and months went by following the surgery, she made some progress in her healing and began physical therapy in late January.  While working hard in physical therapy, Samantha noticed a change in her back pain.  Her body had progressed and felt stronger and more flexible with the physical therapy, but there was a change in the low back pain.
