Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Dear Family and Friends,

As some of you know, Sheryl has not been feeling herself for at least six months. Most of us moms naturally feel run down and tired with juggling kids and LIFE. Sheryl thought the way she felt attributed to chasing Toma around, work and just day to day stress.

As some time went on, Sheryl's fatigue became severe.  She also began to experience headaches. In the last couple of months, these  headaches became so debilitating that she could not function. Sheryl finally decided to do a process of elimination to find a solution to what was going on.

After a trip to her family doctor, a dentist, eye doctor and bloodwork with no answers, Dr. Matt Grbich ordered an MRI on Wednesday April 18th. Sheryl got her results on Thursday,
and she was immediately scheduled to see Neurosurgeon Dr. Wade Mueller at Froedtert Hospital.

On Friday, April 20th, Sheryl was diagnosed with a brain tumor on her right frontal lobe.  She was admitted into the Neuro Intensive Care Unit on Saturday, April 21st to prepare her for her surgery on Monday, April 23rd.

Sheryl and Matt were scheduled to leave for Hawaii this Tuesday, but instead she thought having brain surgery would much more interesting!

Each and every one of you are very important to her and so she asked that we create this so that we can keep everyone updated.  As you can imagine, this all happened so fast and she is still processing everything.
Sheryl is in good spirits and is super positive.

We will keep you up to date on this site,  so that her and Matt have the time and energy focused on their health, the boys and Sheryl's recovery.

Stay tuned....
