Thank you for visiting Sherri's CaringBridge website. The purpose of this site is to provide updates and share information about Sherri's journey and fight against lung cancer.

Sherri is a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. If you know Sherri, you know that she lives life to the fullest and makes every experience special and memorable. She values relationships and connections above everything else, and as a result, she has hundreds of friends and family members who love and support her.

In Summer 2020, Sherri went to the doctor about a pain in her rib cage. After several tests, biopsies, and scans, she was diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell adenocarcinoma, which has begun to spread to other parts of her body. Sherri is still getting new information and the course of treatment is still unknown.

While this is a scary and difficult time, Sherri's faith is unwavering. A lifelong Christian, she knows that she is in God's hands, and she takes comfort in knowing that the Creator has planned and blessed every step of her path. 

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1
