Mom is at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. She’s currently in ICU. She had open heart surgery on 2/3 to repair a leaky valve and replace another one. The surgery seemed to go well, but she never seemed to “wake up” afterward. It was hard to keep her attention enough to keep her awake after the narcotics wore off. Her condition has worsened since then. She is now on a ventilator for a third time. .
