Thank you for visiting my page.  Here is my story. On 1-27-16, a Wednesday, I found a mass near the groin at the top of my thigh. I had an ultrasound a week later. They biopsied it right away since I was there in the US dept. Since it was Thurs afternoon, I was told results probably wouldn't be in until Monday. I was called at 5:15 pm the next day, on Friday, that results were positive and to come Monday for the diagnosis.  I have been diagnosed with Large B-Cell Diffuse Aggressive Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The next week and a half was filled with all kinds of tests and procedures as you can imagine, to include having my port placed in my chest. I will require a regimen of chemotherapy and medications. So that is the medical side of my care.
The other part of my recovery does not involve medical terminology.  The other part of my recovery is the most important part...My faith in my dear Lord Jesus.  I am a strong person and my Faith IS stronger! The love of my husband and children, my sisters and family and my many many dear friends and acquaintances. This is the reason why I decided to create a Caringbridge page. I have been going through life doing for others always. I've been so busy. Always trying to do and be my best for everyone. As a wife, a mom, a daughter to my parents, a friend, and as an employee. These past few weeks happened so quickly. And in this short period of time, I have been contacted by so many people who care.  People who's lives I have touched in one way or another. I  truly did not realize just how many people care about me. So I've decided that all of you who love and care for me are going to be a vital part of my recovery.  I WILL BEAT THIS WITH FAITH LOVE AND SUPPORT!
