Diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in January of this year, Sam has completed the first stage of treatment which included chemotherapy and radiation. The next phase aiming to cure the disease will be an allogeneic stem cell transplant which will involve high dose chemotherapy and radiation followed by the infusion of stem cells from two umbilical cords. Sam is being admitted to Prentice at Northwestern Hospital on Wednesday, September 20th and will be there from 4 to 6 weeks. I will use this site to post regular updates on the process and how he is doing. Thank you so much for visiting and for your support. We love you all!
