Russ and Karen - What an amazing couple, always in loving synchronicity, with faith, family and friends at their core. Friday, November 22, Russ was his normal vigorous self - he worked out at the gym, changed Karen's flat tire, and raked leaves for the umpteenth time.  Saturday morning he was fine, until he wasn't. Out of nowhere he suffered a sudden and serious hemorrhagic stroke.

Russ has been fighting for his life since then, with Karen & so many others in his corner, most importantly, our big God. Karen asked the Lord to bless Russ with His healing touch to eradicate the hematoma pressing on his brain.  Hours later, Karen was able to report that the neurologist ruled out the need for brain surgery. Praise God!

This may be a long and winding road for Russ, Karen and all others involved. Karen, Russ, Dawn, Scott, Mark & their families so appreciate your love, support, & prayers. We are never ready for the bottom to drop out of our lives, but when it does, it's so comforting to turn to the support of our faith, family & friends. Bless all of you for being that support that they need.  Please check back regularly for updates as God continues to answer our prayers.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
