Welcome to Roxi's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Roxi and her family appreciate your support, prayers and love. Thank you for visiting.

Our beloved Roxi (wife, mother, grandmother, youth pastor, mentor, dear friend, colleague, and so much more...) has been diagnosed with Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (CJD), a neurodegenerative disease of the brain that is incurable and invariably fatal. She was hospitalized on October 24th, with various symptoms and seizures. After a long week of extensive tests and evaluations in ICU, the doctors have come to the conclusion that Roxi, unfortunately, has CJD. She has been put on palliative care, and is now on hospice in Methodist Hospital. She is unresponsive and being kept comfortable.

We ask for your prayers for Roxi and her family for this difficult road ahead. Please feel free to share fond memories, prayers and supportive messages here. We are sure Roxi would appreciate this community of love and support, as she has spent her whole life in community of service and love of others. We have all been blessed by Roxi's devotion to her faith, her joyous laughter and her unwavering love. God be with each one of you who visit this page and give you comfort and peace.
