Rosie Hankes Rosie Hankes AML Leukemia

First post: Jun 30, 2013 Latest post: Nov 8, 2016
The week of June 24, 2013, Rosie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). She did three intense rounds of chemotherapy at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois and received a bone marrow transplant on November 8, 2013 at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She is now at home living a 'normal' teen life, with trips to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for lab work and check ups every year. Rosie's in complete remission and is doing great!
