In December of 2017, Rose was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Over the course of the last month, through many tests and evaluations, she is finally ready to begin her treatment course. She will undergo a bilateral mastectomy on Friday, January 19th at UT Medical Center, with extensive home-care and recovery to follow. Resulting biopsies will determine further treatment such as chemotherapy and/or radiation.

While this has been an arduous, and emotionally draining experience, the support from friends and family has been overwhelming. Words cannot express our gratitude.

Due to the excessive financial burden brought about from ongoing sizable medical bills, the economic impact has become in surmountable. This is attributed to the very large deductible and out-of-pocket requirements within her medical coverage.

The goal set for the account is to meet high medical costs, both in December and now again in January, as well as trying to keep our household afloat.

The outreach from many has helped us through some very dark times, and we are confident that with your help, there is a bright future ahead. Please know how very much each and everyone of you is appreciated for all you have done, and continue to do - on behalf of Rose and her family.
