Friends and Family, here is where I will keep you updated on my progress. In this first round of invitations I may have missed someone. Please let me know if I did. This is not meant to replace phone calls or visits but to let everyone know what is going on when I am not up to talking over sleeping!
For those who are wanting the beginning of my story here you go. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in early March. David and I visited the surgeon and decided a mastectomy of my right breast with reconstruction would be the best way to go. This will give me the best chance to remove all the cancer and the best chance for the cancer to not return.
We will be visited the oncologist on Thursday March 23rd to talk about treatment.
Blood work showed I have the HER2 receptor which helps the cancer cells grow faster than normal. So I will be having chemo before surgery.
