After a few weeks of troubling symptoms, Ronnie's primary doctor recommended that he go in for a head CT. It was meant to be a rule out scan but instead Ronnie was diagnosed with Grade 4 glioblastoma, a type of malignant brain tumor. He underwent surgery at Lennox Hill hospital where surgeons successfully removed the tumor, which was about the size of a hard boiled egg. The surgeons were able to get great margins and were encouraged by the surgical outcome. After a stay at a rehab facility Ronnie is now back at home with Erin and Poppy. At the end of January he began an intensive course of chemotherapy and radiation. Despite all that he has gone through, Ronnie's spirits are up and he is ready to continue fighting. He is incredibly grateful for all the love and support he has received from friends and family, it means the world to him. There are still many unknowns at this point but we know that they will be inundated with hospital bills and living expenses. If you would like to support them please go to
