On September 4, 2016, after returning home to Colorado Springs from Phoenix where I had been visiting my sister for three weeks, Roger and I went for one of many walks--this is something we do every day onto the greenbelts behind our home, with our dog Riley. I noticed that Roger was shuffling his feet and told him to "pick up your feet!"
