Welcome to the CaringBridge site for Dad / Bob / Roberts / Poppy, who was recently diagnosed with a bile duct cancer. It was a surprise for everyone in the family, particularly given that the testing resulted in a nasty case of sepsis. Currently in the process of determining next steps. Surgery is not an option and while chemotherapy and radiation are, both have significant downsides as well.
We (Mom / Jenny, Rob, Barry) are going to use this site to communicate with friends and family. Of course, people can reach out directly as well, but please do not expect a response. Mom / Jenny, in particular, has a lot on her plate at the moment, and will generally provide updates only via CaringBridge.
