Robert had his first heart attack the day after he turned 50. He jokingly blamed the chocolate cake. He was lucky he survived. Since then he has had 6-7 more (we honestly lost count) including a widow maker heart attack. He is a miracle. We joke that all of his cats 9 lives have rubbed off on him, because he was told that he wouldn't survive another one after the 3rd.

We are now praying for another miracle as he begins the journey of being on the heart transplant list. This will begin on August 7th when he will receive an LVAD to bridge him to transplant at St Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Please check back to see how he is doing. We will post updates as we can.

Lori (his wife) will also need support while he goes through all of this. She will be staying in Rochester several days during and after the surgery. A phone call, text message of support, or a visit would be appreciated.

Thanks for following this journey and praying for good outcomes!
