Dear Friends and Family,

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

On July 16th Rick was admitted to the hospital due to arrhythmia. He was stabilized, but in critical condition. There was some seizure activity the following days but also some positive signs, such as breathing on his own power and having a gag reflex. On July 22nd, surrounded by his family, Rick peacefully passed away. The funeral service details are below. We also ask for your favorite stories and sentiments about Rick so that they can be collected for his children. Stories can be sent to atmass@cox.net.
