For those who are just signing into the site and have not read the earlier journal posts, here is a brief recap:
Rica was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, Stage 4, last October 11th, 2022. A large tumor was found in her pancreas and has spread to her liver and lymph nodes. After further tests, and thorough consults from an incredible team at St. Luke's Hospital led by Dr. Gerry Cornelio, it was decided that she will begin chemotherapy and treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Both Rica & Robert will leave on Oct. 31st.
We appreciate your prayers and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Already, this has given her courage and grace to face the challenging journey ahead. Rica has finally joined our Lord on February 4th, 2023, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York City, surrounded by her immediate family and closest friends. Thank you for being with us in this journey, and for taking part in her most beautiful story!
