Hello! My Dad, Ray Ruliffson, is experiencing some health issues. He has been diagnosed with stage IV cancer. The exact diagnosis of the primary source has not been confirmed. It looks like it started in his appendix and has spread into his abdominal cavity, (the peritoneum). It has been found on the Omentum, a fatty apron that covers the abdominal organs. From what we know thus far, it is a very rare form of cancer, less than 5000 cases a year (if this is truly the primary cause). Currently he is doing well. He has some mild discomfort at times with digestive issues from the cancer, but is his usual happy and funny self. We appreciate all of the phone calls, prayers, kind thoughts and best wishes for improved health, comfort and support. Thank you!
