Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Mom had a stroke on July 9, 2016 and is paralyzed on her right side and has very limited speech. She spent 12 Days in the hospital and 27 days in Rehab at Hillcrest in Durham NC. I will have to say Hillcrest was a wonderful place and we are so thankful for her care there. She is now home and Daddy has spent every moment with her since her stroke. He is taking great care of her and so is the family. But we are seeing the toll it is taking on him. All of us are taking turns caring for her and doing the best we can. Mom is our main concern right now. Please pray for this family and especially Mom. I know prayer has gotten her this far. God has been so good to us.
