Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Many of you may or may not know, but Rachel's family has a history of colon cancer. Because of the increased risk, Rachel opted to get checked early. It was discovered this past fall that there was pre-cancer in the cecum of the colon. It is scheduled to be removed January 21, 2019 and the doctors believe it will be about a month recovery. Many of you have already asked what you can do to help. As of right now, there isn't much to do, but check back for updates the closer it gets to the surgery. Thank you for visiting. Love you all!
