Indhira Concepcion Betances and other Life University Puerto Ricans Please Help Puerto Rico

Hi everyone and thank you so much for visiting my CaringBridge site for my friend Indhira Concepcion Betances and other Life University Puerto Ricans.  As many of you are aware, Puerto Rico has suffered immense tragedy from Hurricane Maria.  Nearly half the island is still without power and the entire island won't be back to 100% power for over a year.  Many people are unable to work or to get to their jobs right now, and times are tough.  Yet, I must say, all of these Puerto Ricans that I go to chiropractic school with (there are a LOT of them) have been nothing short of amazing - even when the hurricane had just hit and they still hadn't heard from their families, all while taking final exams, they never complained.  My friend Indhira Concepcion Betances started selling her authentic Coquito (Puerto Rican eggnog) in order to help support her mom, who is unable to work due to the hurricane, to help her survive.  These people truly amaze me, being in an intense doctorate program and now working hard to support their families far away on top of the rigorous workload.
