Peyton suffered a massive stroke (waiting on an official diagnosis but it looks like a hemorrhagic stroke) on Sunday, March 24th which led to emergency brain surgery. Peyton is alive and responsive but is at the beginning of the journey to recovery. She is currently in the Neuroscience ICU and doctors are working to restore her to health. Peyton is 20 years old and has a lot of life to live! Peyton has a long road ahead but we are confident she is a fighter and that she has and will defy the odds of what is stacked against her.
