Peter and Shari were driving home from Az when suddenly dad had a heart attack while driving through Bethany Mo.   He was unconscious and they crashed into another vehicle and a light post which stopped the car.  Some Angels were waiting for mom and dad in Bethany because a nurse (Becky) from the local hospital was doing CPR on dad within a few minutes, and her husband (a firefighter) pulled my mom from the car and was caring for her.  Dad was then taken by ambulance to a local hospital where more angels were waiting.  My dad was loaded onto a life flight in critical condition and flown to Kansas City's only level 1 trauma hospital (Truman).  Back at the Bethany hospital, the kindest townspeople helped my mom get Daisy to a kennel, and arranged a ride to KC for my mom with a local pastor,.   My mom spent the night in ICU holding my dads hand - he wouldn't let her go.

Jenny & I left in the morning and drove to Bethany to empty their car and get all of their belongings.  Then straight to the hospital ICU.  We found my mom a local hotel that is in a really nice area and is close to the hospital my dad will be transferred to once he is able.  He will eventually get heart surgery at St Luke's hospital in KC.  It is in the top 20 heart hospitals in the country.  I think some angels had something to do with that too !! My dad has a lot of people watching out for him and praying for him -  keep the prayers coming - they are working.  He is getting a little better each day.  We are expecting that my mom and dad will be in KC in various facilities for about a month.  She is at a wonderful hotel where the manager is taking extra special care to help her.  So right now he needs to heal up in the ICU and then get transferred to St Luke's.  We will post updates often.  We send our thanks to everyone who is helping and has helped us through this.
