Gunna keep it simple folks...   But here is a little history...  Last fall Dad had a kidney stone that he could not pass.  After a week the Urologist went in to break it up and at that time they found suspicious abnormal looking texture in the bladder.  They did a biopsy, and everything was negative, so they were cleared to go to AZ with a follow up planned for as soon as they returned.  About half way through their wintering in AZ Dad had symptoms more common with Bladder Cancer and was treated for an infection.  Symptoms improved and when they got home he had the follow up biopsy.  This time High Grade Invasive Bladder Carcinoma was found, and a tumor was removed.  However, they were unable to detect how far through the bladder it was (depth was inconclusive).  They did a CAT scan and that looked good, no obvious signs of it spreading in the lower region of the body. We had to wait six weeks for his bladder to heal before we could do another biopsy to determine depth.  This is important to know for establishing appropriate treatment.  Dad had the depth biopsy on Monday, July 23rd and we found out today that it is in the muscle through the bladder.  That brings us to the first journal entry below.   Prayers Appreciated!!
