Family and Friends, 
   Thank you so much for checking in on Pete.  We are grateful to have each and every one of you in our life.  Thank you so much for praying for us!  Through some diagnostic tests, we discovered that Pete has prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of his body.  We have sought care and treatment at UCSF and will keep you apprised of what happens.  If you are a man, please make sure you get your PSA checked by your doctor.
