Paul Vokovan

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Paul was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer of the mouth on Tuesday July 25th.  He had a sore that was not healing and very painful.  The prognosis is good, however the treatment will be awful.  He is scheduled to start radiation on the 9th and chemo on the 10th.  He will have 6 weeks of radiation, daily and three treatments of chemo, every 3 weeks.  Needless to say, our world has been turned upside down.  Sooo much information to digest.  He will receive his treatment at Frauenshuh Cancer Center at Methodist hospital.  They have been wonderful and we feel very confident with Paul's two oncologists.  We will keep everyone informed as we walk this new journey.  Thank you for all the prayers and support.
