My dad (Paul Huberty) was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. Unfortunately the cancer was caught very late, and it has progressed into a very aggressive and dangerous cancer (Gleason score 9 out of 10) which has already spread microscopically throughout his bloodstream. He has been in hormone treatments since he was diagnosed, and will be starting proton radiation treatments every day for the next two months at Scripps Hospital in San Diego. He temporarily moved to San Diego last week, and he just finished his first week of proton radiation therapy. His spirits are high, and my dad is very optimistic that with lots of prayer alongside these two months of radiation treatments, God will bring him through this as He has through so many other things. Every week the time of his treatments change so we will keep you all up to date on this site, but this week his treatments will be from 2:00-3:00 Pacific Time, so please be praying during that time! We are so grateful for all those who have come alongside our family to encourage and walk with us...people are welcome to write notes here on the caringbridge site, or if you would rather email him, you can contact him at paul@trophyofgrace.net and until mid-January he can receive mail at this address:
